The Booze Brothers (SE)

The members of The Booze Brothers started playing together sometime in 1985. The style of music, however, has been consistent since the start, varying from down home blues to good time rock and roll. Heavily influenced by the blues of the likes of B. B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Elmore James and Otis Rush, this band is still more than capable of producing a driving, sweaty rock beat in the style of ZZ Top, the Rolling Stones or Status Quo... The Booze Brothers' recording debut, "Evil Morning Blues", arrived in October 1998. It contained thirteen tracks, out of which ten were band compositions. The follow-up, "On the Rocks", with all original material, was released in September 2000. The Booze Brothers have spent the last couple of years touring Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany successfully. September 2000 saw the band making their first tour of Holland. In the spring of 2004 The Booze Brothers went to Germany for the first time, making a ten - day tour. In the same spring, the band performed a number of shows together with the Wolf Island Horns, who originally played on the band's second studio album, "On the Rocks", from 2000.
